The representative cell images were taken using 4× light microscope. (A) PTL inhibited kidney fibroblast cells proliferation induced by recombinant WISP1 protein (1 μg/ml), validated by counting cell numbers. (B) Wisp1 knocked-down using shRNA reduced the proliferation of kidney fibroblast cells by TNF-α, confirmed by counting cell number.
