Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that circulating titers of high-sensitivity troponin T (hsTNT) at day 1 were independent predictors for the infarcted mass and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) observed by cMRI at day 30. Circulating titers of IL-6 collected at day 1 were also related to the infarcted mass at day 30, while titers of hsCRP collected at day 1 were independent predictors of LVEF at day 30.
