(A) Caco-2 cells were treated with different concentration of pinocembrin (0–150 μM) for 24 h, and then the mRNA expression of Occludin, Claudin-1 and JAM-A in Caco-2 cells were determined by qRT-PCR. (B and C) Caco-2 cells were treated with pinocembrin for 2 h prior to LPS (1μg/ml) treatment for an additional 22 h. Protein expression of ZO-1, Occludin and Claudin-1 in Caco-2 cells were determined by immunoblotting. All the expressions were normalized to β-actin.
