Subcellular fractions isolated from HepG2 cells were separated by SDS/PAGE and Western blots were carried out to detect the lipid-droplet protein PNPLA3, ACSL3 and ACSL4, the ER marker protein calnexin, plasma membrane and lipid-raft associated flotillin, the Golgi protein GS28, the TGN-endosomal protein syntaxin-6, the early endosome-recruited protein EEA and the mitochondrial protein VDAC. Western blots are representative of experiments repeated three to four times.
