(A) Western blot analysis showed PTEN overexpression reversed miR-543 effect to the expression of Bcl-2 and BAX in HCT8 cell through the cotransfection of miR-543 mimic and PTEN. (B) HCT8 and HCT8/FU cells were treated with increasing concentrations of 5-FU for 48 h. MTT assays showed that overexpression PTEN re-sensitized miR-543-expressing cells to 5-FU treatment.
