In the latest issue of Clinical Science (volume 133, issue 1), Conrad et al. highlight the key roles of A Disintegrin And Metalloproteinase 8 (ADAM8) in invasive cancers. Their provided cover is a confocal image of breast cancer cells stained against ADAM8 (magenta), and actin (green). ADAM8 is predominantly expressed in the invasive protrusions of cancer cells, highlighting its importance in invasion and metastasis.
